So I still favour allowing customisation of Transport Toolbar for extra buttons and completely flexible button order. Gale, do I assume that by "customization" you mean the ability to remove and add buttons in the toolbar? If so, then I would support such a proposal - not least because on...

Yes but do it with Windows Explorer (or one of the many tagging utilities available) - not Audacity.
If you do it in Audacity you will end up with a second lot of MP3 compression (for which read damaged audio).

I'm quite surprised that you're finding 60 Hz hum components as both Southern Ireland where the signal originates and the UK where I'm recording both have 50 Hz electricity suppliesRobert J. H. wrote:That's pretty broad band - apart from the 60/120/180 Hz hum.
