Re: Audacity crash when opening Plot Spectrum

Ok thanks, I'd be happy with remapping the LABEL keyboard shortcut from Ctrl+B to some F -key.. because this is a GREAT feature which i use a lot. Are you aware that there is also Ctrl+M which places a label at the current recording or playback position? I find that a very often used function too. ...

Re: Audacity crash when opening Plot Spectrum

Can you think of a good F-key you use?.. suggest an available F-key? Finding currently unused shortcuts for customization can be a bit tricky - but the DUI dialog will warn you if you try to reassign an existing shortcut. And there is no guarantee that any fresh shortcut you choose will not in the ...

Re: Audacity crash when opening Plot Spectrum

Still would like to see the ability to add tool buttons to a User or Custom toolbar. Just one [toolbar] would do it. OK, we can make a note of that. I like that idea of a user configurable toolbar - though I can see it tricky getting the GUI right for the management of such a toolbar. I seem to rec...

Re: Record two mono channels simultaneously

It's a surprisingly tiny change, so I don't see that it would get in the way of a more elaborate channel mapping feature. Actually making 2 channels record as 2 mono tracks requires changing just three words in the code :o The more complex part is adding a GUI switch - I'd like to keep this part re...

Re: "Split stereo to mono" apply to all tracks simultaneousl

I seem to have missed this topic first time around, but it occurs to me that it might be beneficial for Audacity to provide an option to record 2 mono channels . That would be ideal for those users that wish to record two mono sources at the same time (such as guitar in one channel and vocal in the...

Re: Audacity crash when opening Plot Spectrum

Also.. I think Audacity needs to have a customizable toolbar, because Ctrl+V and Ctrl+N are too close to Ctrl+B on the keyboard, and that means there's a lot of mistakes trying to ADD new labels, that is doing a Ctrl+B . You can easily customize your shortcuts (make changes or add new ones) - See t...

Re: Verdict on the settings for new Noise Reduction?

We have an entire effect, albeit disabled by default, called Classic Filters that does not have good enough documentation. :o Mainly because the effect's author couldn't be bothered to engage with the documentation processs and provide some additional input and editorial review  And so it is ...

Moved the initial request to Wiki>Pending Feature Requests.

And then move this to Audio Processing as it could be useful to others.

Re: Bug: default sample format ignored for imports

So is there a Feature Request embedded here? If so, what is it?

Or a bug report that needs filing, or already filed?

Or can I just archive this ?
