I seem to have tooltips available all the time (Linux).
I don't get any tooltips on the Macbook Pro - not for the buttons even when in-context - nor for any of the toolbars.

Re: Transport Toolbar Tooltips

We seem to have a regression here in 2.1.2 and worse in 2.1.3

In 2.1.2 I get no tooltips for Stop and Skip to End

In 2.1.3 alpha both those are still missing plus no tooltip for Play

Re: opening more than 1 program

Even then, if we just lock Audacity down to the "single project recorder/player model" it will probably encourage more people to look for "unofficial" solutions to record and edit at the same time. If we are serious about wanting "mult-project" then we need to get seri...

Re: Storing/saving Preferences

I expect that you are only making settings in the Track Control Panel for each track, the bow oat the left of the wavegorm or spectrogram. If that is the case then try goind to Edit > Prerences : 1) on the Tracks pane, choose Spectrogram as youft " Default view mode ") 2) then on the Spect...

Re: Protecting a Track

Question: what happens if you have edit protection for a track - and that track is part of a sync-locked track group and a selection is made in one of te other tracks and than a deletion is made? What takes precedence - the track-lock or the sync-lock? Similarly if the user makes multi-track selects...
