Re: Consider a project of only unmodified tracks to be "clea
The user will see a warning about dragons and devils and things that go bump in the night and will have to agree to go past that before they even get to see the option to hide "Save Changes?". I suggest it will not be possible to turn the dragons notice off ... Big +1 to that ... "Sa...

Photoshop works like this, or it did in CS3 and years before. — If you open a document and make no material changes (magnify is al...

Anyway, I'm done with this. Far more effort that it's worth. After all, it's only one click to dismiss the warning. +1 "I second that emotion ... " - it is when all's said and done just one little click A few posts ago you supported an Advanced button. I still do support an Advanced butto...

Re: Recording Vinyl Into Audacity 'Skips'

Given developers are mostly opposed to expanding Preferences "mostly"? Is this still true? It seems to me that the Developers have started to lean more heavily towards a do-ocracy. For one thing, there's some new blood in the developer's pool. While I realize that, where practical, we nee...

Re: Compiling Version 2.1.2 For Windows 10 64-Bit w/ASIO Err
I'll venture to compiling 2.1.3_alpha this weekend and let you know what I think of it. Ed, if you do that I'd be very grateful to hear some feedback on the new improved Scrubbing&Seeking in Audacity 2.1.3. Gale and I have been working on the documantation for that in the alpha Manual over the ...
