Re: Bug: can't change quality when export to .m4a file
Since you're uisn .m4a I assume that you are probably using iTunes/iPod. If that is the case, then eyou would be much better exporting WAVs from Audacity, importing those into iTunes and then using iTunes to do the AAC conversion. That is what I did with my LP/tape collection digitization and it wor...

Re: Effect 'reverse' to just one track? WIN10
I've just logged this: http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1751
We are so close to Realease Candidates for the upcoming 2.2.0 so it is unlikely yo be fixed for that release - but there is a good chance to get it fixed for future releases.
Once again, thanks for spotting that maxi1

Re: Effect 'reverse' to just one track? WIN10

Re: auto fit file
My testing shows that for all the 2.1.x series using File>Open will always open it at the default zoom level, showing 6-7 seconds or so. Same happens in 2.2.0 Beta and latest alpha. BUT if you use File> Import to import a pre-existing audio file leike a WAV or MP3 then Audacity fits that to the scre...

Re: Stereo problems when recording vinyl
Do NOT run Audacity from the DMG - drag the DMG to your Applications folder and then run it from there.
