Recommendation: One of the biggest drawbacks of the full Audacity Manual is that it doesn't have a full Search facility. The Index is only a Table of Contents that lists the titles of each 'page'; it does not index the key words in the content on each page. Yes, that's long been a bugbear for us :(...

Audacity from 2.2.2 onwards should now check for running out of space, warn the user and stop.

I tested the 2.3.0-alpha-52 version made available by waxcylinder: Ran a 5 minute timer record with auto save/exit. Everything worked. Ran my old audacity version 2.2.2, timer record failed as usual. Ran the alpha version with a 2 minute timer record, no auto save. It worked. Bug fix looks good! Ma...

you need the .aup file for the project as well as the project folder with all the little soind clips. It's the .aup file that tells Audacity how to put it all together.
