Re: Audacity 2.3.0 - Effects: "Sort or Group" bug

Grouped by type works fine for me on W10 with Audacity's standard released set of plug-ins that the download comes with.

This looks like a problem with your optional Mtremolo plug-in

Re: Track Time Navigation?

Part D is also quite a prize. You can actually pick to values for Start and End, which eventually highlights that part of the audio track you desire to work on. Pretty cool! I have Start and Length as my default setting for my production work - I find it by far the most convenient choice as I often...

Re: Track Time Navigation?

If I have a CD-R which only accepts 80 min of recording time then I may have to edit out several parts of an audio file to be able to burn the CD-R. And if I don't have time to complete my edits and I have to break and come back at another time, then I'd like to be able to make a note of where I le...

Part B is interesting. There are three options here: Off, Nearest and Prior. It's kind of confusing until you play around with it.
Or you could just read the Manual about it … ;) 8-)

Re: Track Time Navigation?

Before I begin, I'd like to bring your attention to Section 1 of the above link: Where it says: "Selecting the entire project" Under "Mouse Selection Tips" there's a line reading: " Esc key aborts selection drags, and restores the previous time selection, frequency selectio...

Re: Two features want to add

1. Reset to default value For nearly all of the built-in effects, you can reset the effect by selecting "Manage button > Factory Presets > Defaults". More information here: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/manage_presets.html There are two effects that come to mind where this does not ...

Note that Microsoft expect you to leave the computer on overnight so that Windows can do its updating and maintenance work while you sleep.
And while you can't see what they are doing :geek:

Re: Details on Label Editor - W10/Audacity 2.2.2

You can also have multiple label tracks. When I was transcribing my LPs & tapes to digibits I would often have a top label track to identify where each song started (the top label track is the one that Export Multiple uses) - and a second label track for notes as I worked on the edits/repairs. m...

Re: Apple Magic Mouse + Horizontal Scrolling

Not sure I want to turn off scrolling for EVERYTHING I know what you mean - there's a few apps where I find the horizontal scroll quite useful, but mostly I find it really annoying, which is why I bought a cheap wireless mouse. It's a shame that Apple don't appear to have provided a convenient way ...
