I'm thinking that this is one shortcut that we should probably move into the reduced Standard shortcut set.

Re: 2.3.0 has lost keyboard input on dialog boxes
@DJDemon
This workaround does not work for me.
The "All Controls" is the default setting on my Mac so it was et that way anyway.
According to the dialog that setting affects tabbing rather than the Return key.
But your guesses for the English terminology was perfect.

Re: Does Toneboosters Track Essentials 3 work with Audacity for Mac?
As far as I'm aware there's no 64-bit Audacity for Windows as yet either ... Please note that for Windows and Mac, Audacity is only available as a 32-bit application that may be used on 32-bit or 64-bit systems. 64-bit builds will be available in due course. We are currently working on a 64-bit ver...

Re: LAME Library-updating (dead link on Audacity site)
Peter/Wax, thanks for making that recommendation. Deleting the old instructions might prevent some folks (like me) getting stuck dealing with the dead link, etc. We had a Team vote yesterday and decided to go ahead and do that 8-) And now we've done that - plus it prompted us to remove the long-out...

Re: Audacity does not recognize usb device
You may need to enable it in Windows:
1) click on the speaker icon near the bottom right of your screen
2) select sounds
3) select the Recording tab
from there you can enable it

Re: Audacity does not recognize usb device
Did you attach the USB device after Audacity was already running ?
If so, the you need to use Transport > Rescan Audio Devices.
This page in the Audacity Manual may be helpful to you: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/rec ... ables.html

Re: Recording for Traning Courses
I have been looking over the shortcuts and the menu picks. But for me, CNTRL+I doesn't seem to do anything. I also don't see that in the Edit/Preferences/Keyboard. As I explained you don't get that with the Standard Default set - but if you select the Full Default set in Keyborad preferences then y...

Re: Recording for Traning Courses
First either turn on the Full set of default shortcuts from Edit > Preferences > Keyboard or if you don't want the full set, then set a shortcut for Edit > Clip > Boundaries - the standard Audacity shortcut for this is Ctrl + I - that's capital letter i - though you could choose any available key co...
