Re: wma files
See this page in the Manual: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/file_export_dialog.html and this page that it links to: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/wma_export_options.html Note that you have to have the optional FFmpeg library installed in order to do this - see: https://manual.audacityteam...

Re: How to apply to a batch of files? [VIDEO]
Does anyone know how to clone a macro? There's no clone button. The Macros are just text files that are stored in the Macros folder in you Audacity settings folger (along with the audacity.cfg and plug-ins) so you can just go to that folder with Windows Explorer and make a copy of any of the Macros...

Re: skipping silence during an audio recording
No, latency is a different issue - the latency is the time it takes for the signal to pass through your computer from input to output - and "computer" means both the hardware and the software (the operating system and the Audacity app). My tests show that on some of my PCs but not all the ...

Re: re: 64-bit
We're working on it right now for the next release, the upcoming 2.3.1
Right now it all works except for the 64-bit optional add-on the FFmpeg library.

Re: Does Audacity work with iZotope Ozone?
This iZotope page shows the supported hosts: https://www.izotope.com/en/products/mas ... specs.html
I don't see Audacity listed there - nor have I tried downloading and using Ozone.

Re: v.2.3.0 macros STILL export all 24-bit WAV as 16-bit!!!
I have logged these as: 1) "Export as WAV does not remember the previously used setting" - see: https://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2062 2) "Impossible to use Macros to Export 24-bit or 32-bit WAV files" - see: https://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2063 ...

Re: v.2.3.0 macros STILL export all 24-bit WAV as 16-bit!!!
There is an underlying bug here which I shall be logging later on today. The first thing to note however is that there are two commands that enable you to export WAV files (of varying bit depths). 1) File > Export > Export Audio which enables you to select the file format (i.e. including the three b...

Re: Bugs in 2.3.0 Windows 10- 64bit
3. Not a bug but a complain: some effects take now more time to apply: Example: Limiter, clip fix. In the previous versions, the action was really fast. (I use the same parameters) Very much a bug in 2.3.0 (and a regession on 2.2.2). And a bug which we have fixed for the next release 2.3.1 - not on...
