Re: Random crackling only through bluetooth headsets

Did some more testing today with my wife's Rokono Bluetooth speaker and my hi-spec SSD W10 laptop 1) Record a 5 minute stereo sine tone at 0.1 amplitude 2) Play this 3) observe crackling throughout the 5 minute playback 4) Export as WAV 5) Play WAV (using Open With...) with WMP, Groove, iTunes, Cybe...

Glad to know it's recognized and in hand. Is this likely to be fixed in the next update?
Yes, we are hoping to fix this and other EQ bugs for the next release - and we may be spliiting EQ into two separate effects rather than switching modes within the effect.

Re: Macros batch conversion exporting 24 bit file question

It won't be for 2.3.3 because of all the maintenance work. the Release Manager says - but there's an extremely good chance it'' make 2.3.4 I'll remember to nag for it ;)

If you have an SSE2 CPU - then 2.1.3

If an earlier CPU you will need 2.0.6

Re: 2.3.2 would not export 3.3 gb wav file

Are you exporting 24-bit WAV?

If so there is a known bug which mistakenly restricts it to 3GB and not 4GB

Just found out that I can reproduce this bug by that green arrow on the top.
There is a slide that allows you to place the song slower and faster (how can you switch between those two pitch modes by the way?).
I can't reproduce your issue using that transcription toolbar play green button.

Re: Can't record from USB interface after upgrade to Mojave

Well I've been running Audacity released and alpha test versions (and old versions for QA testing) on my MacbookPro with various versions of macOS 10.14.x Mojave - with no problems.

Re: Macros batch conversion exporting 24 bit file question

Exporting as 24-bit WAV is not yet available for Macros. Additional export options may well be added at a later date. Please allow this feature for WAV and Flac? Thank you. Donation ready and waiting as soon as this is solved, pinky promise! 8-) We have logged a P3 enhancement "bug" for t...

Re: Not recording from USB input

Don't "record" your CDs. Use a "cd ripping" application to make a digital copy. (I'm a Window user but iTunes can do it.) It's faster, you'll avoid the digital-to-analog-to-digital conversion, and the ripping application will (usually) find the CD in an online database and autom...
