Re: "Another copy of Audacity is running" problem
See this FAQ in the Audacity Manual: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/faq_errors.html#already_running We have logged this recently as an ENH (enhancement request) in our bug tracker: https://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2052 I'm hoping we might get it fixed for the next release. Re: Help! Importing files to one playback
An Audacity project is made up of two parts 1) A folder with subfolders containing all the little .au files 2) an .aup file which has the same name as the folder - this file is the "project manager" that tells Audacity how to string all those little .au files together. IF all you did was r...

Re: batch process / chain / macro = 2 questions

Re: Saving a sample file for Noise Reduction Profile?
It would be jolly nice if Audacity could save a noise profile for you - better still if it could save several named ones - for redeployment later How would you handle the fact that noise profiles only work for one specific sample rate? Ha ha - I only ever work at one sample rate 8-) :geek: Peter

Possibly in the next release 2.3.3 - but it may slip to the one after that - we are very few in number in this volunteer project ... The Release Manager is aware of this bug - the Release Manager created this bug wi...
