Re: Add capability to load LABEL file in .LOF file

2) woud be nice too to be able to parameterize the Mute option for any track (but that one is just a suggestion as personally, when I load with .lof, I have always one or two tracks which are just added audio references for the project, which would initially be in mute state as not really part of t...

Re: Add capability to load LABEL file in .LOF file

1) it would be very helpful to have the .lof loading process to include a vertical (Ctrl-Shift-F) global height distribution to the loaded files Have you tried the setting in Tracks preferences for " Auto-fit track height " ? It works reasonably well in most use - but falls down when reco...

Re: Add capability to load LABEL file in .LOF file

Thanks again for your thinking about it all. I'm thinking that you suggestion sounds reasonable and sensible - but I'd like to hear Steve's take (or other Forum Elevs) on it before discussing it further. But it does seem to make sense to me - we can export a lable file, so why not import though the...

Re: need help determaning channels

And I don't think that the Manual is totally clear on this (I had to do some testing to find out what happens) so I'll be updating the alpha Manual for the upcoming 2.3.3 release to make this clearer. Note too, that if you are working with just mono tracks just a small nudge on any of the Pan slider...

Re: need help determaning channels

If you have just mono tracks to export (or selected and using Export Selected) the resultabt exported file will be mono. If you have any stereo tracks present in the mix the the resultant file will be stereo. Update: more accuracy, here is what it says in the Manual The new mixed track will be stere...

Steve is away on holiday at the moment.

I'm still thinking about your idea.

Re: need help determaning channels

Somehow you've got the warning(s) turned on

Use Edit > Preferences and choose the Warnings tab - turn off any warnings you don't want.

Re: Using ClickRepair software

Hello, I plan on using ClickRepair on some vinyl I will be digitizing soon. I was wondering though if capturing the vinyl audio as 16-bit/48kHz would bring about any untoward changes? I would strongly recommend that for capture (and any editing) that you leave Audacity at its default 32-bit float a...

Re: Way to know the time of cursor

... I need to know the actual point of time of the cursor. But reference manual on the site no gave me the help. Does anyone know the good way to do that? Yes, look at the Selection Tololbar at the bottom of the Audacity window - there you will see a box called Audio Position - that shows the curre...

Re: cursor

Can you post a photo of what you see (a screenshot won't capture the cursor)?
