On Mac I don't get any Codecs offered (by default) with the AMR format in Custom FFmpeg export

But if I just press ahead with a blank Codec and try the export I get the same error message that you get on Linux.

Both with 2.3.2 and RC001 for 2.3.3

So, do you wanna log a bug for:
a) more meaningful error message on Windows (I've not tested on Mac yet)
b) inconsistency in error message W10 v. Linux
c) both

You can use the Export/Import functionality in Keyboard Preferences:

Audacity should really be remembering your settings between uses - unless, that is, you clear/reset your audacity settings folder ...

I tried using Custom FFmpeg to export as AMR (on W10) and neither of the two offered Codecs (libopencore_amrbb or libvo_amrwbenc) work.

I get error messages on attempting this.

2.3.2 run just fine on all the Mojave 10.14.x versions that I had. I have now migrated to 10.15 Catalina and I can run 2.3.2 and the Release Candidate RC01 build that I have for the upcoming 2.3.3 - but I do need to launch from the Terminal app in order to be able to record.
