Re: Audacity 2.3.3 - Add frequency labels to new Graphic EQ interface

I have logged this as P2 bug 2261 (it is technically a regression on the old Equalization effect in 2.3.2).

https://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2261
Graphic EQ sliders have no frequency labels

Accordingly I shall be logging it as a regression bug.
Logged as P1 Bug #2260 (P1 due to the regression)

https://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2260
New equalization effects do not show a selected curve's name

Re: Filter Curve Complaint

I have a complaint about the new Filter Curve display. The display should say somewhere with no other work on my part. I'm minded to agree with you Koz - I'd go further and say that saved user-baked curves should display their name too. It is actually a regression on 2.3.2 - where under the previou...

Could you possibly tell me what the difference is between "Standard" and "Full"?

As long as I can record I'm good, but I suppose it would be good to know...
Please see this page in the audacity Manual: https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/key ... rence.html

Re: Jump waveform to a specific point

Use the "Start of Selection" instead and then press Play followed by stop - two quick taps on the Space bar and that will move the waveform to the changed cursor position. As of now the Audio Position is supposed to be just a read-only data box - as you have found out you can type times i...

Re: Problems with the new Noise Reduction replacing Noise Remova

It might just be easier to use an older version that has Noise Removal in it.

You could do the rest of your work in that latest Audacity as the project will be transferrable between the two versions.

Re: Windows 10 update Noise

I just imported your MP3 and amplified the "silence" between 10.3 and 11.7 seconds,

It has a remarkably regular pattern which is odd:

amplifide silence.png (229.14 KiB) Viewed 112 times
And it's certainly not "silence"

Re: Windows 10 update Noise

From that mp3 it sounds as if you are recording from your PC's onboard mic rather than a proper external mic
