Re: How to make the clip split when cutting?

Same version, 1.3.3... I just don't understand how I made this work. I even reset my entire pc just a few days ago and i didn't even have to change a single setting to use the cut function the same way i have for years. I just tried on 1.3.3 - Cut and Delete leave no gap and move the remaing audio ...

Re: How to make the clip split when cutting?

Re: How do I achieve overall fixed volume in multiple mp3's whilst maintaining original quality?

but have also heard that i should normalize? Normalization is a volume adjustment for peaks at a certain level, usually "maximized" at 0dB. Peak levels do not corelate well with perceived loudness so if you normalize all of your files they won't all sound equally loud. Most commercially r...

Re: Filter Curve Complaint

If you feel that this is "essential" for the Filter Curve effect, how can you not also feel that it is essential for the Graphic Eq, or Reverb, or any other effect? I do feel it is "essential" for Graphic EQ too - look at 2260's bug title: New equalization effects do not show a ...

Even 1.2.6 showed the preset curve name in the dialog after the user had selected it.
but only for the 12 factory presets?
Indeed - but then in 1.2.6 there was no functionality for user-defined eq curves :geek:

Re: Filter Curve Complaint

Isn't it just that we're familiar with the old Equalization GUI and we don't like change? I did select it...weeks ago. I'll give you it looks like Low Rolloff, only because of historical and institutional knowledge. We're coming off an interval when Equalization would scramble or misplace correctio...

Re: Filter Curve Complaint

To make it more interesting… If you modify the filter it is no longer the filter which you loaded. Should the name change - disappear completely, display as modified ("modified Base Cut" etc.)? In the old Equalization effect in 2.3.2 earlier - as son as you modified a retrieved named file...
