This page is left intentionally blank

Re: Audacity not showing in microphone privacy settings
Using this workaround does not grant access to Audacity - rather it grants access to Terminal (which passes permissions through to Audacity) so I would not expect to see Audacity in that list.

Re: Pressing Down/Up to Navigate Tracks is Inferior to Clicking on Them
1) make a selection (for pasting) 2) Click in track 1 3) Press Enter (leaves focus on track 1 but removes selection) 4) Press down arrow (moves focus to track 2 - but not cursor position selection) 5) Press Enter (this transfers the cursor position to track 2) 6) Ctrl+V - pastes the selection from ...

Glad the workaround worked for you
I've written to my Audacity QA colleagues (we are very few in number) and our key developer to discuss this,

Re: Non-destructively Create Silent Space in Mid-track.
I can't use the 'generate silence' feature as far as I know since that will destructively delete part of the spoken track. How can I do this? It will only overwrite (destroy) the audio if you make a selection prior to using the Silence generator - that is how it was designed to work - and yes it wo...

Re: playback distortion linked to Windows WASAPI in Audacity 2.3.0
Hi Darren, This looks like it's still not fixed in 2.3.3! It records fine using WASAPI, but playback crackles and skips. Testing in my QA W10 laptop (HP Envy with SSD and Bang & Olufsen sound, Realtek soundcard) I get no crackles on playback when using WASAPI host - for either 2.3.3 or any of t...
