Trebor,
Thanks, but that isn't the reason why I posted it. I was just trying to close the one second gap that wasn't there in the original audio source. It doesn't matter now anyway since I've decided not to use the song.

Re: Clipping or Distortion on Vocal High Notes of Ripped Aud
Hi Trebor, Thanks for the link and the suggestion. I am almost finished with my website and want to upload some video performances of mine. That was actually the next step, after I completed the audio CD. And, I want to upload the same to You Tube as well. I braved the enormous crowds yesterday and ...

Re: Clipping or Distortion on Vocal High Notes of Ripped Aud
Thanks "Simon"!! LOL You know, Holy water might just do it though! As I mentioned in an earlier post, I had hired a video/sound guy from a large and well-respected performing arts center and at the last minute, he had an emergency and couldn't make it. I would hope that his recording of the concert ...

Re: Clipping or Distortion on Vocal High Notes of Ripped Aud
Hi Guys, I tried your suggestion of uploading the DVD audio once again and then editing Porgi Amor using only "Amplify" -7dB...no "Normalizing." I did this and found that, unfortunately, there was still some "fluttering" in the louder/ more intense portions of the song. Also, I detected the same "fl...

Re: Clipping or Distortion on Vocal High Notes of Ripped Aud
Hi Guys, Been trying to post the "Change Speed" to -19 clip for a bit now. I've cut it to 5 1/2 seconds cause each time I try to send it, I get an error message telling me that it's too large. Hope it works this time. Haven't tried it in my car yet but will do so shortly. Thought you might like to h...

Re: Clipping or Distortion on Vocal High Notes of Ripped Aud
Hi Trebor,
I just listened to the bass cut remix four times. I get your point and do see a difference. I'm beginning now to try to implement the suggestions that you've all been kind enough to make. Thanks!

Re: Clipping or Distortion on Vocal High Notes of Ripped Aud
Hi Guys! I've just read all of your comments and I appreciate the input! I've just listened to Trebor's rumble enhanced clip and the sound I hear on my car CD player is just like that only not so pronounced, of course. I would describe it as a kind of "fluttering" sound during certain passages, and ...

Re: Clipping or Distortion on Vocal High Notes of Ripped Aud
Hi Koz, I will do what you suggest and let you know. Now, I'm tired so forgive me if I sound brain dead, and I don't drink coffee unfortunately, but I rip a song from the DVD audio again and then follow your most recent instructions. Correct? You should know, that not all the songs have evident dist...

Re: Clipping or Distortion on Vocal High Notes of Ripped Aud
Hi Koz, I played your Battle last evening and found that it sounded wonderful on my car stereo. It sounded just as lovely as both of the CD's that I have of hers, her Carnegie Hall debut and a recording she made with Wynton Marsalis of Baroque music. I turned up the volume as loud as it would go and...
