I assume "Speakers (XFI GAMER)" is your regular soundcard. Make sure you've selected the USB device.

I don't know if this will make a difference but try un-checking "Exclusive Mode".

An Audacity Project has many small files. When you Export as WAV or MP3, etc., you'll get a "regular" audio file.

If you open a file Audacity into a new-blank project the Project Rate will change to match that file. That only happens with the 1st file... If you import another track/file it won't change.
