Re: text to music with subliminal affirmation with enchants
"reiki text to music with subliminal and enchants generator" Sorry, I still don't know what that is... There is software for converting images into sound but I can't help you with that and I'm not sure sure if Audacity can do it. (It's NOT something built into Audacity.) There is PROBABLY better "s...

Re: sound issue
Are the LED indicators on the Scarlett showing a signal? If you shout into the mic with the gain turned-up do the indicators turn red? If you plug headphones into the interface and select direct-monitor are you hearing anything? and selected the correct options for the input and output You selected ...

Re: text to music with subliminal affirmation with enchants
I don't completely understand your question... There is nothing "subliminal" built-into Audacity but there are various techniques you can use with Audacity. You can do lots of things with Nyquist but you have to do some programming. You'll probably get more help on a subliminal forum/website. Most o...

Re: Need to create a beat.
Audacity and audio editor that can also record audio and it can generate some basic tones but it doesn't make/use virtual instruments. You need MIDI software.

Re: Preventing clipping when mixing audio and music.
Mixing is done by summation* so you have to reduce the levels. ;) There are a few ways to do that before mixing... You can use the Amplify effect, the little gain slider to the left of the waveform, or you can use the mixer ( view -> Mixer Board ). -6dB is 50% so if the peaks don't exceed -6dB, two ...

Re: Bass and Treble thing
I don't know... For me, it seems to remember the last setting so if I set both sliders to zero, they are at zero next time I open Audacity and then open the Bass & Treble effect.

Re: increase playback volume
Effect -> Amplify defaults to whatever gain is needed for "maximized" 0dB peaks. That should get the volume up but if you select the whole file and there is one loud part, that loud part will determine how much gain you can get. There is a Noise Reduction effect where you give Audacity a sample of ...

Re: mp3 sounds distorted after imported to audacity
I'd guess there is some corruption or something non-standard about the original MP3 file. Depending on the decoder some software may ignore or get-around the problem... You can try converting the file to WAV or FLAC before opening in Audacity. Try Kabuu Audio Converter or TAudioConverter . Most of t...

Re: Export (multi) with too big difference in sound .need HELP
I cut an mp3 file (44k, 24bit) 24kbps bit rate ? (MP3 does not have a bit depth like a 16 or 24-bit WAV file). 24kbps would be "low quality" and it's not good for music.* When you open a compressed file in Audacity or any "regular" audio editor it gets decompressed. If you re-export as MP3 you are ...

Re: USB mic lag regardless of what I put as latency comp
The buffer length affects the actual recording-input latency. (There is also a playback-output buffer and I don't know how to adjust that.) Latency compensation simply compensates after recording so you can exactly align with the backing track in the mix. ...Sometimes you can get the latency down to...
