That's not possible. In general, you can't un-mix audio. Of course you can isolate the left & right and there are "tricks" for isolating or removing "centered" vocals.

No there are no "official" video tutorials and of course whoever makes those doesn't keep them up-to-date.

MP3DirectCut can do some limited editing/processing without decompressing.
