Hmm. Is it possible that the directory/index file (whatever it is called) is some how corrupt, because I now attempted to save the project by exporting each track to .wav and using another prog, but the files that Audacity exports are corrupt. It seems like the entire track was put through a cut-up ...

It's happening with mono tracks now too. It says: "unhandled exception".. something.. I can't get the rest because it shuts down so fast.

I'm not sure what "bitrate" refers to here, but they are both 32-bit float when imported. Does that answer the question?

nope.

Also it seems the crash phenomenon is not completely gone necessarily. I'll have to do some more trials, but I got another one today.

Crash when recording to project.

Ok. So, I had this problem that a project would crash every time at approximately 3.7 seconds. The project contained one 44.1 kHz mono track and another 44.1 kHz stereo track. Then I attempted to record a third one, and every time the crash happened after 3.7 seconds of recording. Now I noticed that...
