I have been unable to resolve my problem and am hoping for some help: Playback through Audacity is terribly distorted. File modifications, etc. seem to work which I can verify by playback through other software ( xmms, amarok ). Kubuntu Linux version 7, Gateway laptop, ESS Allegro PCI sound. Audacit...
