Is there a way for me to use reverb on a track? A plug in or something i could install. How do I do that if it is possible, thanks in advance.

Sorry for the noob question.. I want to record a guitar solo in the middle of a track i'm working on. How do I record without having to wait through the entire beginning of the song? Is it the selection tool i need? I want to be able to select a portion of the song to record, or skip over a section ...
