Re: Import Raw Data
Gales, Thanks for responding so quickly. The problem is that the files have as a file extension: "Unix Executable File", and they have lost their headers. So the only way to import them into Audacity is via "Import Raw Data". Even though the import window allows me to select multiple files at once, ...

Re: Can't Install Audacity 1.3.13
Gale,
Yes that is the version I am using. I do not understand why it stopped working and reverted my problem all over again. None of the compatibility modes work, either. Here is the screen shot:

Re: Can't Install Audacity 1.3.13
Well, unfortunately I'm getting the same issue as before when trying to run the program. I have to keep re-installing it whenever I want to use it after closing it. What I mean is, once I install the program, I can open and use it. When I'm done and quit the application, if I want to reopen it again...

Re: Can't Install Audacity 1.3.13
Version 1.3.13 installed and worked with no problems. I will need to take some time to try out the features to make sure there are no issues. I tried a sample 10 second recording and exported it in a few different formats, and all worked correctly. Did a few effects, and they too, worked correctly. ...

Re: Can't Install Audacity 1.3.13
Thanks for a response, Gale. Yes, I had the installer set to launch Audacity after the install completed. I also tried deselecting that option just to see if that may have been the problem, but it was the same issue. Yes, Audacity version 1.3.12 also installed, opened, and worked fine. Thanks for th...

Re: Missing about 1 second of the beginning of imported mp3
Steve, I want to thank you for your taking the time to look into this. As I stated in my private message to you, I used VLC media player, which also transcodes files to shorten the original file. After inputing the file and selecting to only save the first 10 seconds, I then tried inputing it into A...

Re: Missing about 1 second of the beginning of imported mp3
Thanks for your response. I will upload the first 5-10 seconds of the song since the problem is only the beginning being cut. When I open it in Windows Media Player, iTunes, or Real Player, you can here the into just fine, but when it's imported into Audacity, it cuts a few milliseconds from the beg...
