I'm trying to record a practice demo for voice over.I have the most current version of Audacity.I downloaded LAME.I'm using Windows Vista.The mic is an Audio Technica 2020 usb.I don't know what to set the preferences at.I recorded the copy in stereo originally but when I play it back off the desktop...

It plays in Audacity.I managed to export it in mono but it won't export in stereo.I want to make multi track recordings and right now I can't.

I just exported a track to my desktop in MP3 format.When I do a playback through the windows media player there is no volume.I use Windows Vista what am I doing wrong?

The recording is stopped and still nothing..perplexed

Everytime I try to export an mp3 to my desktop using windows vista a box pops up that says "Could not open MP3 Encoding Library".I'm not computer very literate so a simple explanation would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Whenever I record I can't gain access to the effects toolbar.I'm a noob to Audacity.So easy explanation would be welcomed.
