Thanks for the suggestion. I still wonder what I did wrong such that all four output files had the same weird structure – the first 15 sec followed by the looping first 5 sec.

I just digitized 4 LP sides into 4 Audacity files. I then processed each file with a click removing program. I then re-opened each file in Audacity, trimmed the tops and tails, then re-exported each file (by selecting the entire file and choosing "export selection as wav") to its existing filename, ...

Thanks for the suggestion. Turns out that all I had to do was put the plug-in NOT in the Plug-ins Folder but in the Nyquist Folder. Which is slightly odd because 1. The instructions say put it in the Plug-ins Folder 2. When originally downloaded, the Plug-ins Folder is full of files of type .ny, whi...

I can't get the Nyquist Notch Filter plug-in to show up in Aud 1.2.6, under OS X 10.3.9 Until recently I was digitizing LPs happily, with the Notch Filter plug-in doing a good job of removing the 100Hz component which is the main bane of my analog system here in the UK. In System Prefs I had the Sound input level set to about 75% of maximum, and for most LPs a recording level of between 0.6 and 0.8 gave good unclipped results.
