Never mind, I figured out a solution: I can separate the tracks and give the weaker one a slight amplification to center the sound. Then I can rejoin them into a properly balanced stereo track.

I'm interested in fine tuning the balance of a recording, but I cannot pan by less than 10% increments using the pan feature on the left. Does anybody know how I could achieve better fine tuning?
