You didn't get any other options when you selected "Show disabled devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices"? nope the only devices that are listed even the hidden ones are the mics under the recording tab. This is not good! lol I will have to go back to using my old PC just to us...

tried that and it didn't work. In my sounds configuration the only thing listed under recording for windows is the microphone from my web cam and the usb mic I use for podcasting. Maybe I need to get USB speakers I dunno
