Yeah, definitely a Audacity problem. I exported my file as a .wav from Audacity then used lamedrop to convert to .mp3 and it can out perfect.

Sure thing. http://podcasts.davenportlibrary.com/episodes/030708.mp3 Sounds fantastic as a .wav or in .aup form. But once it mixes down the narrator vocals get buzzy, even at 128 kbps. Thanks again. MP3 Export Distorted
Whats up everyone.. I have a recording that includes audio and vocals (Podcast show). Everytime I export the show as a MP3 the vocal audio is somewhat distorted. I play music and then I have some talk show talking with music playing lightly in the background. The talking is just not coming out right...

So are you saying that there is no way to prevent the latency or echo playback. If thats the case, why doesnt everyone experience this issue?

I am having a similar problem using a Vista Laptop. I am going through a Behringer UB802 mixer. I can hear the playback but there is an echo when I have "Software Playthrough" selected. When I deselect "Software Playthrough" I cant here the playback at all. Yet it still records my voice from the mic...

When I deselect "Software Playthrough" I cant here it as Im recording. It does still record what Im saying into the mic, I just cant here it simultaneously. I am using a new HP laptop running Vista.. can this be the problem? Also, I am using a Behringer UB 802 mixer. Please help.
