^ Okay thanks, I'll try that. I used "Noise removal" in the effects bit, and that actually cleared it up quite a bit.

This is happening to me, only not so badly. But as you layer tracks the static builds up.

...and set Recording Channels to mono (I assume this is a mono mic). Set the Host to "Windows DirectSound". Gale Okay, this is the only part I'm having trouble with.
