That doesn't seem to explain it: I do use Split Stereo to Mono, and Mono is checked in all 4 tracks, and I still get that balloon warning and stereo Wav files.

Re: Splitting and Time Shift
I start with a 4 track (mono tracks--they've been converted from stereo, one of the two tracks which were split from stereo to mono having been thrown away). When I File--Export, I get a message: "Warning: Your tracks will be mixed down to two stereo chanels in the export file". I do the export, and...

Re: Splitting and Time Shift
That Ctl + M is very cool! I played with it and assume you mean (since you typed a capital M) that Ctl, Shift M is what will do it. Just Ctl "m" doesn't seem to keep work. By the way, since we're here: when I export (save) as a Wav file, I always get Stereo. I've been working on Mono I've reduced my...

Re: Splitting and Time Shift
OK Guys; Well that's more than more than more than anyone could expect. Thanks very much. I"m going to have to study what you've said. Let me ask here, before that, however. Do you fade in and out with that little tool that you can pull up and down, or do you use Effect Fade? That seems to be fairly...

Re: Splitting and Time Shift
Having now worked for a couple of days with this (and hours and hours previously), I have to say I find it maddening. Here I've got snippets of voice on 4 tracks which require me to align them, and then with further editing to slide one to the right or left in a way that doesn't move whats to the le...

Equalization
Could one of you please refer me to a site explaining how to work with the Equalization. Just playing with it, it seems to have great potential for editing voice (interviews etc.), so just how it's used in such situations might save me time reinventing the wheel.

Re: Splitting and Time Shift
Right; well, on my build (1.3.9 alpha) it doesn't work. As long as I unlink, it will slide whether or not i select anything. And if I link, I can slide only if I select, but the label on the left and right of the split moves together. So, here's my question: The edit I'm doing has taken a lot of tim...
