Re: Need Some Really Good Headphones

I download episodes of anime online (videos in avi, mkv, or rmvb format) and I record things from those videos using the record feature in Audacity (like portions of music, sound effects, etc. in those videos) and put those things together in creating remixes. Also, I download music files in flac fo...

Re: Need Some Really Good Headphones

Now I just have 2 more questions: 1.) Now I noticed the T.Bone HD990D and did a product comparison with the HD880: http://www.thomann.de/gb/search.html?xsid=0f9fcdf8de663278df0b278b166998ea&gk=zukosk&bn=THE+T.BONE&kf=on&oa=ala&wgfid1=7414&wgf7414=&wgfid2=8987&wgf8987=&wgfid3=8988&wgf8988=&wgfid4=898...

Re: Need Some Really Good Headphones

Now things are starting to look up to me--I have someone who is willing to help me out. It looks like I am able to afford a more expensive external sound card (and maybe perhaps expensive headphones). However, it must be a external sound card--I do not want an internal sound card for my desktop. The...

Re: Need Some Really Good Headphones

Going on my experience of modern on-board sound cards, I would expect that as soon as you plug in some decent headphones, you will immediately discover how poor the sound card is, particularly the recording input, and particularly on laptops. Any sound card that is designed for audio production is ...

Re: Need Some Really Good Headphones

Now as for my sound card, it is Realtek High Definition Audio onboard. Will that sound card be alright?

Re: Need Some Really Good Headphones

Actually, I've decided to choose headphones instead, as speakers are way too expensive (noticing the replies given in this topic). So what would be some really good headphones that produce the most accurate sound in this same price range stated in my first post? And again, please be very specific be...

Need Some Really Good Headphones

I use Audacity in recording a wide variety of things from many different sources and put all those recordings together and arrange them in producing my own music. But once the music is produced based on the old speakers I already have, when I listen to it on other computers, it is completely inaccur...

Re: How to have equal stereo sound

Actually, I'm using sony dynamic stereo headphones mdr-v150 in creating my remixes. And if I were to apply more effects on one portion of audio (which will result in that portion of audio having more difference in waveforms in both the left and right channels), it would result in that portion of aud...

How to have equal stereo sound

When creating remixes, I record a whole bunch of things and apply some effects. But it turns out that all my portions of audio end up with unequal stereo sound in which some portions of audio sound richer and others sound muffled. The rich ones would have the most difference in waveforms in both the...

Question using time tracks

Is there a way for me to move control points on a time track in a straight line (in units) rather than moving them by the mouse? Also, is there a way for me to duplicate a time track and its contents or select the contents of a time track, copy them, and paste them into another time track?
