Windows 7. When I play the ION through the USB codec, the recording quality is terrible. It has stutters and what sounds like clipping of the input. Any ideas out there?

Lost Microphone USB Codec
Windows 7. I accidentally deleted the recording icon for the USB Codec. I didn't think it would immediately delete it but it did (didn't need APPLY). How do I get it back?
