Uh i just solved my problem with the tracks, what i was trying to do was EXPORT, not record,,,,, that fixed it!!!

Thank you Gale, Yes the issue i had with the plug ins was i needed to check "research for plugins upon open", but it seems i hit a brick wall with my recording, because i only have speakers ( 2 channels) and Microsoft sound mapper ( 2 channels). Is it possible to record mutliple tracks at once? everytime i do it there is a red line, the ouput level is right but the input level is at 0, please help, thanks.
