Audcacity can't import MP4 [SOLVED]
I hope this is the right forum to ask this really stupid question. Although I've been using Audacity for ages in v2.1.0 on a Mac under OS 10.11.4 I can't seem to view any waveform when a song is opened. It was always there so therefore a no-brainer so now that it isn't I can't seem to find what migh...
Re: v 2.1.0
Thanks, that did work. I had never made my Magic Track Pad recognize a left click so that was difficult at first. Of course now that I did it once it's really easy! The old slowness of finding a file still exists within my iTunes folder. (that was an issue you and I had talked about a while back-if ...
Re: v 2.1.0
I didn't know that the FFmgeg was needed to make those files visible in the program so I'll take care of that. Which begs the question why do i need to install taht every time the program goes through an update?

Re: Opening song file-sluggish
Honestly i didn't look at all the links you provided but the four or five that I did look into didn't say anything that seemed to pertain to my difficulties. For example, in iTunes Preferences, try not sharing your library on your local network and try not syncing devices automatically. Just tried ...

Re: Opening song file-sluggish
Perhaps if you have any non-Apple apps, try File > Open and scrolling through iTunes folders in those apps. It's possible you may find the same issue which does not occur in Apple apps. Unfortunately I don't have any other appropriate programs that are not from Apple i can use to test this out. Any...

Re: Opening song file-sluggish
If you scroll through other folders than iTunes, does it make any difference? I don't have the same problem there. Have you tried scrolling through Mac file open dialogues in other applications, like TextEdit or GarageBand? I've been suing Logic all day with no hiccups I assume you meant "using". P...
