I just changed the recording device to Sigma Tel C-Major Audio. That didn't do anything by itself, but then I noticed on the tool bar there was a pull down next to the input volume control that indicated Microphone. I have used Audacity in the past and it has worked great although it has been awhile. I wanted to record something today and it won't record what is playing on my machine. It just records dead air and that is it. The only thing that I can think of that may have changed since I last recorded anything...
