The issue has changed. Now the feedback is at a more reasonable level but the pause button is always paused when i press record.

Hey,

I had trouble getting sound to play while i was using a USB microphone, but i've sorted that.

No when i press record i get a high pitch feedback noise and the pause button keeps going on and off. It wont record it now.

Please help.

So do you know of any programs or any ways i can record with just this cable?

I brought a MIDI to USB cable the other day and have connected it to my keyboard and into my computer. When I tried to use Audacity, it doesn't have a usb option under recording devices, only the computer's built in mic which is rubbish.

Please can anyone help?
