Re: CAN'T RECORD
The Audacity volume sliders may not necessarily affect the audio you hear. Use the volume control on the web browser player to affect the volume you hear. Are you trying to record the audio without hearing it? If so, left-click the speaker icon by the system clock, click "Mixer" then turn ...

Re: Db(A), Db(C) equalizations should not miss in stock auda
Actually most of the requests I know about want weighting display options for Plot Spectrum. I wonder how many of those are wanting to measure SPL. (That won't work) None of them say why, except one who says it would make the plot "look more like it would be heard". If you think a "d...

Re: I don't know what noise is this.
That noise in your latest sample is much more intrusive than in your previous sample. Are you using the same headset? Have you moved closer to the computer or closer to other sources of interference, or turned a mobile phone on?

Re: GSnap vst plugin is not shown in effects [SOLVED]
OK, thanks for letting us know. I'll mark this solved.
Just remember that to use the upcoming Audacity 2.1.0, you must update to XP SP3 (or later Windows).

Re: iTunes Import Problem
Never mind, solution found in other thread: http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=73129 So the problem that everyone missed until now in your log http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?p=263147#p263147 was that the MP3 importer (libmad) was importing the M4A file? I can't imag...

Re: Merging desired audio from two separate tracks
This isn't really like the question you attached your post to, so I started a new topic for you. What you did is like having tracks A B and making it into AB So assuming A and B cover the same time period, what you did does not help. I would Edit > Undo that so you have two Audacity tracks again. Ba...

Re: Merging files to one project.
If you still want the audio for the CD tracks as one Audacity track, you can label the points in the Audacity track where each CD track will start then Export Multiple by labels.

Re: The ordering problem of several waves
Audacity doesn't import files as natural number sort, so you would need leading zeros in the names of the files to achieve import of the files in correct order. Audacity does not have an append import feature yet that would attach files end to end. We have a feature request system and if you like, y...

Re: Imported audio becomes glitchy
If the top track does not start at time zero or tracks have white space between separate clips, you may hear broken playback and this problem may get into the exported file. The upcoming 2.1.0 release of Audacity has a fix for the above specific problem. Please try the latest pre-release build of 2....
