Re: 'Split Line Auto-Merge' Issue
There is no feature to keep a split line when clicking close enough to merge it. I have added your "vote" for this. Is there also a way to keep the split lines when removing parts of a track? No and I don't think there should be if the split line is in the region you are deleting. However ...

Re: Binary toolbar
Anything is possible if one fakes an image or if you are a programmer. Are you a programmer? What are you trying to do? There are probably several hundred samples in those groups you have drawn.

Re: Scrollbar buttons are gone
Yes Audacity user wxGTK. If you look at Help > About Audacity... then Build information you can see the wxWidgets version your distro used. Did a previous version of Audacity have the little buttons? As far as I know, Debian-based versions of Audacity have not had those buttons for some years. Do an...

Re: SOUND WAVES BUNCH TOGETHER!
when recording the wave lengths don't start when the music starts. The waves start showing about 1.0, but by then the waves lengths are all jammed together. Upon playback the playback speed is so fast is sounds like D. Duck! I've contacted other musicians who have recorded with Audacity & they ...

Re: CAN'T RECORD
Have you been to the web site of your computer manufacturer to get the latest Windows 8.1 audio drivers for your computer model? Yes, and my drivers are newer than the ones listed for my Gateway serial number. Then try the listed Gateway drivers, unless you have very good reason to do otherwise. Th...

Re: Audacity Doesn't open right Blank Screens
There may be that chance about the virus or something. I had a problem with Firefox play a music when I open tabs or searched. I found it is connected to Firefox SYNC and I can't run it or that happens. I looked for answers about this for a week and seem no one has had the problem or they can't fin...

Re: Audacity won't open on Mac- Audacity 2.0.6
I've tried everything and it's still not working :( What exactly did you try? Have you tried repairing the disk and repairing permissions? Is it Yosemite or some other version of OS X? We can't see your computer, so we have to ask. Did you make system changes since last night, if so, what were thos...

Re: Audacity Doesn't open right Blank Screens
I tried using the reset but it doesn't help, still same problem. That's why I went as far as deleting everything about Audacity but even that, it didn't help. Trying removing the content out of the audacity.cfg file also still didn't help, like the help said to do. Then please uninstall 2.0.6. Then...

Re: Unable to Export to ITunes
Be aware that USB cables are often a problem with USB audio converters. If you have another USB cable, try it and make sure both ends of the cable are connected tightly. Reboot the computer with the USB device connected and plugged in/switched on.

Set Yeti for Cardioid pattern. Set Yeti input to mono (1 ch) in Audio MIDI Setup and choose the Yeti as recording device in Audacity's Device Toolbar. Set Device Toolbar to 1 channel (mono) recording.
