Re: 6th channel gets corrupted in .ogg files
The tiny crack is only present in the finished .ogg file after the exporting is done: http://i.imgur.com/3ZBzyAr.png And only oggenc does this, not Audacity's OGG encoder? Does it happen if you don't add metadata in WinAmp? Does it happen if before exporting you open File > Edit Metadata Tags... an...

Re: Create an Album
So was the problem that you were not adding metadata tags when you exported from Audacity?Arrowshot wrote:Thanks very much to all. After following a few suggestions I finally got this worked out.

Re: Selecting recording device via USB [SOLVED]
Thanks for letting us know. I will mark this topic as [SOLVED] and lock it. Gale Hi guys, I want to thank everyone for their input. The problem is resolved. But not in a way as I suspected. A few remarks: - Yes , what I was able to record was stereo. I have enough experience in recording to visually...

Re: Air pods not syncing with audacity HELP
I am having the same issue. I find that Adobe Audition works - my AirPods show up as an option on the output devices there. But in Audacity this bluetooth device doesn't show up as an option and choosing "built-in output" doesn't work. I'm using the most recent version of MacOS with Audac...

Re: Serious equalization curve bug
(I'm using Audacity 2.1.2 in Windows 10 Professional) I've depended on Audacity's equalization curve facility for years, to compensate for the furry windshield muffling that affects all my sound recordings (natural soundscapes), together with compensating for my current recorder model's weakness on...

Re: 6th channel gets corrupted in .ogg files
OK I just found a veeeeeeeeeery minor problem. There's a little crack sound that lasts not even 1/4 of a second at the start of the songs. Guess I'll have to deal with that, I hope anyone who uses the mod never notices it. You mean the crack is only in the OGG exported with oggenc? Not in the MP3 a...

Re: Recording with Maya22 USB - latency error
OK I've got it working now - apparently it was the simplest of fixes! I plugged the Maya into another USB port! I was using the one on the right side of the laptop, and I changed it to one on the left where there are two ports side by side (one is where I have my mouse). Presto! Thanks for helping ...

Re: 6th channel gets corrupted in .ogg files
I am guessing that having decoupled you are stuck with the different order. Perhaps Steve knows more. See http://manpages.ubuntu.com/manpages/xenial/man1/oggenc.1.html if you need to add tags back. There are examples at the bottom of that page. For the sample rate issue I think you will need to add ...

Re: 3rd party Plugins open but just flicker if try to use
I could be corrected, but Audacity didn't used to work with plugins that insisted on using their own control panels and interfaces. So I think your Audacity is normal. Koz Thanks,- that would make sense. Perhaps there is no point in trying to turn off the graphic interface? It would help greatly if...

Re: 6th channel gets corrupted in .ogg files
Thanks, Steve for that research.
One thing to add for Windows is that you'll have to click the "Browse..." button to right of where you enter the command, or otherwise type the full path to oggenc2.exe. If the path contains spaces, you must enclose the path in quotes.
