Re: Help With Settings [SOLVED]
With the sound control full-up, I could hear the sound but not well. I went to the sound control panel and it showed the recording device as "Microphone Array 2-USB PnP audio device". There was no way to set it higher on that page so I went to Properties and set the level at 100%. Still n...

Re: Batch removing the COMMENT data in MP3 metadata
If I leave the other fields blank, will it erase all the other data too? It is just the COMMENTS I want to BLANK but leave the other data in tact. All I can say is that I tried it and if I only choose <blank> for the Comment field, only the comments tags are removed. We do not make or provide suppo...

Re: Batch removing the COMMENT data in MP3 metadata
Audacity can't do that. Install Mp3tag . Open the files in MP3tag (for example, use File > Add directory... to add the MP3's from a folder). Select all the files in the window in the right, then in the Comment: field on the left, choose "<blank>". Then File > Save tag. Gale

Re: Playback sounded once, then went silent
I have rebooted several times, but will do it again. My sliders are exactly in the position that you have shown in response. Will get back once I have tested a recording. Thank you. If you still cannot hear playback after that, I suggest you reinstall Audacity, enabling "Reset Preferences"...

Re: Playback sounded once, then went silent
I suggest you reboot if you have not yet done so. Then turn the Audacity output slider up (by the speaker symbol) in Mixer Toolbar:

If you do not see Mixer Toolbar, View > Toolbars > Reset Toolbars.
