Re: Can't view sound graphs in Audacity 2.1.0 for Mac

I use Apple OS X version 10.10.2. I have successfully used Audacity for a long time before. I have now downloaded Audacity 2.1.0, I think on the .dmg installer, and have added the indicated plug-ins. When I transfer sound files they are copied successfully (I think), but I can't get any sound graph...

Re: Echo at 36 mins of audio

Recording telephone meetings, using a JD Audio Quicktap. Do you mean JK Audio QuickTap http://www.jkaudio.com/quicktap.htm ? If not does this product have a web page or documentation? Re: Error while opening sound device.

Sorry! I forgot to mention that with my new computer I am not getting that same error message. It will go into record mode but it won't pick up any signal from my mixer. As above, please tell us what version of Windows or whatever system that machine is running. If you want to record from a USB mix...

Re: Error while opening sound device.

Sorry but we can't see your computer(s), so we can't help you if you don't answer our questions and don't tell us which if any of our advice you have followed. Is the Mac on Yosemite or some other version of OS X? You can ask Behringer what versions of OS X their mixers support. We don't know, but i...

Re: Upgrade to 2.1.0 and no more personal theme

There is no need to delete ~/Library/Application Support/audacity/ when installing a new version of Audacity. Versions of Audacity before 2.1.0 do not support Yosemite. You can use the same unofficial procedure as in 2.0.6 to display a custom theme - the process still works http://forum.audacityteam...

Re: Export to mp3

I have several tb of disk space free. I just downloaded the latest Audacity version, but still no luck. Do you have terabytes of space on the drive you are exporting too, or has a per-user space quota been implemented on the drive by an administrator? An MP3 starts being written as soon as the MP3 ...

Re: Disapearing Audio!

I think it will be as Koz said - you have the _data folder in the wrong place (the _data folder needs to be in the same folder as the AUP file) or you renamed the _data folder (which you shouldn't do).

Re: Export to mp3

Assuming it was a typo, I deleted your previous post where you said you had 2.0.1.

The answer is the same though - please check your disk space or wait for the progress bar to complete.

Re: Export to mp3

When I try to export the audio and save as mp3, the progress bar stops about 3/4 of the way through. I am using Windows 7. Until today, I have had no problem. I hope someone can help. Perhaps you have no disk space left in the location you are trying to export to? You forgot to give your Audacity v...
