Re: INTERFACE
There is a thing called a Control Surface which has programmable switches, knobs, and sliders to interface with your audio hardware. But, they tend to be expensive and I have no idea if they can be used with Audacity. They can't if they use MIDI control as most do - only if they use key strokes. Se...

Re: Recovering crashed project
Hello Gale... I am attaching the log file. That is the old log after, you got the invalid token error. As I said, we need to see the log after trying to recover the project. If you did a force quit of Audacity, please open Audacity again, then Recover the project, then give us the log. I am confuse...

Re: Recovering crashed project
As you may have seen in other topics, in case like this you need to open the AUTOSAVE file in a text editor, then remove the long line which is empty except for </project> at the end of it, and remove any other empty lines. The last two lines of the AUTOSAVE file should then look like this: </record...

Re: Feedback when recording with imported audio
If the problem persists after choosing the correct recording device the mic is connected to, see these tips: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/fa ... .html#sync.

Re: ACC Export gone?
I think you may mean "AAC" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Advanced_Audio_Coding) It is listed as: M4A (AAC) Files (FFmpeg) As in previous versions of Audacity, FFmpeg needs to be installed for AAC export: http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#ffdown Note t...

Re: Making Tracks
I am new here. windows 7 with Audacity 2.1. I have recorded complete LP and cleared clicks. I have tried to find silence between cuts and moved sensitivity up to -40 db but it doesn't mark anything to break it into tracks. Do you mean Silence Finder ? With that tool you reduce (move left) the slide...

Re: Using Tom Baran's Autotalent2 as plug in
Hi, I am running Windows 8.1 and Audacity 2.1.0 obtained through the .exe installer. Am running in 64 bit mode. I read a review on Tom Baran's Autotalent & how it could be used via the Ladspa support. I've loaded the Ladspa (picked up a whole bunch of plug-ins on the way), but Audacity plugins ...

Re: Recovering crashed project
Tried to open, but box popped up stating "Project check found File inconsistencies in automatic recovery" Blocks show up in audacity with correct track names... but no audio whatsoever. Perhaps the AU files got arranged into the wrong subfolders as a result of the crash. Don't save the pr...
