So I can use the regular aux cord that I have an plug it in from the "out" port on my kit and plus the other end into my laptop where the headphone usually go? Then the kit should show up in the Device Toolbar? I tries this and the kit didn't show up, only the sound software on my laptop....

Having just resolved http://bugzilla.audacityteam.org/show_bug.cgi?id=914 I see that Steve was probably referring to Quick-Play now starting loop from the Quick-Play click position,then playing the entire track looped until playback is stopped. And I would power cycle the mic between recordings, Are you referring to the receiver only or both the receiver and mic? Just wondering what you're thinking might be changed by the recycle. I have imported a file and cut out a section of the track. I'm new at this but I have followed the tutorials closely. Each time I try to cut another section of the tyrack it weill not allow me to. Rather than experimenting with Audio to buffer I would set it as low as you can on the Yosemite machine and leave it there. You have the insurance of recording in parallel to the other machine. And I would power cycle the mic between recordings, if I recall correctly that the other machine is not on...
