Re: locked Play Region/cursor
If something is "locked", then I for one would definitely expect it to be "locked" and require "unlocking" before changing it. +1 that's totally what I expect too Definitely, by default, now we have that feature. All I'm saying is that for anyone whose workflow suited ...

Re: locked Play Region/cursor
As in the previous version of Quick-Play, there is a 10 pixel tolerance for clicking on the play region arrows. If there were no tolerance it would be extremely difficult to get the mouse pointer in exactly the right place. 10 pixels seems about right to me so I didn't change it. If you would like ...

Re: Hissing(white noise) problem with USB microphone
I was hoping for someone who has experience with equipment itself to help me, maybe I can buy something to stop this noise completely, as I am sure it is possible, I was listening to other recording with this microphone and they are completely clear. The noise is normal and not severe. Recordings w...

Re: Recording audacity with windows 7
You mentioned saving the song's to Windows Media Player to export it as 44100 Hz stereo WAV. I never had to do that before that I can recall. Just record the music to Audacity, split the tracks , export multiple, save the program then (open with) Windows Media Player. Now you can't (open with) WMP ...

Re: locked Play Region/cursor
Right click context menus do not have that limitation, so the right click menu could correctly be greyed out when there is no region to lock. Your interpretation of "correctly". Yes, my interpretation of "correctly", but as far as the Timeline menu is concerned, I am the develop...

Re: locked Play Region/cursor
Dragging a selection in the waveform with Quick-Play drag is enabled by default. But it can be dangerous when you are only clicking to Quick-Play. I think this is a bug. 1 Generate Tone 30 seconds. 2 Select some region before 10s such as 2s to 5s. 3 Click in the Timeline at 10s, then click again at ...

Re: locked Play Region/cursor
If it can be done I really think that we should show the temporary play region as well as the locked region simultaneously. I agree that would be nice for completeness, but it looks like a lot of work for a very fringe case (poor ROI). I don't think that I've ever used Quick-Play at the same time a...

Re: Recording via USB Audio Codec
I work on an iMac 21", Yosemite 10.10. When I make a recording on Audacity, I can see the recording but I can't get an output? How do I do that? I have tried to use "Internal Speakers" and "USB Audio Codec" as output without result! If you are trying to listen to the record...
