Re: FFMpeg DLL not being recognized (not a n00b)
I can actually get FFmpeg to load if I tip its files into C:\Program Files (x86)\Lame For Audacity\, but why do that? Just follow http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/faq_installation_and_plug_ins.html#ffdown . So quit Audacity. Run the FFmpeg uninstaller if it exists. Run the LAME uninstaller then ...

Re: First track fine, every following track distorted!
If you are overdubbing, monitor by putting headphones in Yeti and setting the Audacity playback device to Yeti. So there is no confusion about the symptoms, please attach a short WAV file that demonstrates the problem: How to post an audio sample . Set up Yeti properly in /Applications/Utilities/Aud...

Re: Compressed audacity file attached
You still have not told us which Audacity version and which version of Windows. Please tell us (have a look at the pink panel at the top of the page). I am so new to the software that I don't know how to edit a ten-second clip. Pretend the blue waves are text. Drag the audio you want to select with ...

Re: guitar rig 5 dll cannot be detected in audacity effect
Tried j-Bridge with audacity - no joy. Bridged files were recognised on startup, but did not appear in the effects menu. I got the TAL Chorus 64-bit and W1 Limiter 64-bit to run in Audacity after bridging them, making sure per jBridge recommendations that the original plugins were not in a path tha...

It immediately crashed, not after a pause as happened last week. Thanks for attaching the report. The report shows exactly...

Re: Down Loaded .zip for lame... no libmp3lame.dylib
Please read the pink panel at the top of the page and let us know the necessary information. Hi, I keep trying to export to mp3 but audacity can't find the libmp3lame.dylib file. I tried installing lame via .dmg then I downloaded the .zip and browsed to the folder but there is no libmp3lame.dylib fi...

Well it goes without saying I like this one - I was disappointed we had to wait until after 2.1.0.
