Re: Timeless (blank) vs Empty (lined) Track Parts?

@kentone: Would you like to "vote" for an export option that respects leading white space before the track starts? We would just add your "vote" to a count of how many users are interested in such a feature.

Re: How to improve audacity performance when adding effects

Is there a way to get audacity to use all my resources or speed up effect generation / application? Audacity is writing data to disk. Are you using a Hard Disk Drive or Solid State Drive, which will be faster? Gale I haven't run it on an SSD before, just a physical HDD. I just reinstalled it to win...

Re: I've found some bugs in Audacity with some plugins

Which exact version of AutoTune? Please give us the address where we can download the exact AutoTune version you are using. Sorry, I prefer to hide it because the VST is cracked due to I don't have money to buy it. However, I am using Auto-Tune Evo v6, and it worked with old versions, even the Auda...

Re: Question About Function - Multi-Track Script For Play?

What version of Audacity? What version of Windows, Mac or Linux? Audacity has append-record into the selected track(s): http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/playing_and_recording.html#Continuing_recording_in_an_existing_track . Click between Mute/Solo and the track name (to left of the waves) to sel...

Re: Physical Interface for Audacity Instead of Keyboard

I'm trying to make a physical interface to control Audacity rather than using a keyboard and mouse - ambitious I know! Indeed - Audacity does not support control surfaces. Those usually rely on MIDI messages but Audacity does not support MIDI input. I want to make an audio recording, apply simple e...

Re: How to improve audacity performance when adding effects

Is there a way to get audacity to use all my resources or speed up effect generation / application? There are no Audacity controls for that. You could try increasing the Audacity priority in Task Manager. Audacity is writing data to disk. Are you using a Hard Disk Drive or Solid State Drive, which ...

Re: Please help - lost files due to system crash!!!

Cyrano's suggestion of using a Linux live CD is a good one for quick rescue of files. I'm not sure if it contains Microsoft chkdsk or similar to repair the file system. Set your boot order to boot first from CD. Or you can insert your Windows 8.1 DVD. After loading its files, if it can see your Wind...
