Re: Unable to import .wav and .ogg

Also you can download "MediaInfo" from http://mediainfo.sourceforge.net/en/Download/Windows to find out what type of file you really have. Get the version without installer, because the installer may have malware or adware.

Re: Audacity buggue à la lecture d'un fichier audio

I do not speak French. Where did you get Audacity from? What is its version number from Help > About Audacity... ? If you don't want Audacious to play a song, remove its association with the file type of that song. To do that, right-click over the file, choose Properties, then click the "Open w...

Re: Making a playlist and crossfading

I just downloaded 2.1 We don't make that. Look at Help > About Audacity... . It should say 2.1.0 (all three numbers) or 2.1.1-alpha if you are risking running an alpha version. If it says only "2.1", uninstall that and get 2.1.0 from us http://audacityteam.org/download/windows . I am tryi...

Re: Marking Song Boundaries

Is it preferred to start the label region with the first note of the song and end it with the last note of the song or end it with the first note of the next song? It the former, what happens to the sections between the track labels. Especially when I'm doing something like a multiple export. Do th...

Re: Recover unsaved files (not crashed)?

Your only (slim) chance is file recovery software. You must be using a HDD, not SSD, and the recovery software must keep the timestamps of the deleted AU files unmodified.

Re: USB Audio No Recording Level Button or Adjustment

SoundMAX is motherboard audio, nothing to do with USB audio. Also please see Important information for Windows XP users about the security risks of running XP now that Microsoft do not support it. Another issue may be that a new HP laptop would not come with Windows XP. Have you installed XP over th...
