Re: batch resample
I'm not sure how to reference my folder of input files and a location for the output. http://sox.sourceforge.net/sox.html - see "Synopsis" at the top of the page. https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/sox-users https://sourceforge.net/p/sox/mailman/search/?mail_list=sox-users Gale

Re: POD GX, Audacity 2.1.1 and Windows 10
I just installed Windows 10. I am recording using POD Farm and the LIne 6 GX TonePort interface. If I launch Audacity with POD Farm running, Audacity gives me an error message that says no audio device is connected. When I launch Audacity first and then launch POD Farm, my interface does not show u...

Re: Recovered Audacity Projects
There was nothing in that directory. What will the file look like? Will it have an .aup extension? As I said, it is an "autosave" file. It has an .autosave extension. Which file recovery software are you using? I found a 2.aup.bak but it's only 5 kb. ~And Putting it in the autosave direct...

Re: Providing a build with WDM-KS support
If WDM-KS was an option, and people still chose that option despite the warnings, at worst they would get a BSOD. But BSODs aren’t such a big deal when the cause is known! People only have to reboot or press the reset button, and forget about WDM-KS when they use Audacity again. Maybe they could th...

Re: Serious problem with the effect peak-limiter.
http://gaclrecords.org.uk/win-nightly/ Certainly, it concerns audacity win-r3715b21-2.1.2-alpha-31-jul-15.zip Please test the latest "r6a95aae-2.1.2-alpha-01-aug-15" build - I think the effects slowdown should be fixed or improved. There is also decimal "dot" instead of "co...

Re: InternalPortAudio error since windows 10 update
As some other people already told about it, the best solution is to update the audio drivers. In my case, it was a Realtek "High Definition Audio Codecs". The current version is R2.79 and with it, Audacity v2.1.1 can run perfectly under Windows 10. Thank you. It is still a second-best sol...

Re: Windows 10 error opening device or Internal PortAudio er
I have had the same problem.. No audio devices are shown in Audacity at all, these however are shown correctly in all other programmes and work with no problems. I updated from 8.1 where audacity worked correctly. I have reinstalled audacity several times with no luck. All relevant drivers are up t...

Re: Providing a build with WDM-KS support
It is a matter of how many PCs actually get BSODs because of WDM-KS. If it’s only 3 or 4% at most, I think it is worth including it in Audacity. After all, it is only an option in a menu. When users choose this option, Audacity could pop a message up, warning of the potential pitfalls of selecting ...

Re: Providing a build with WDM-KS support
It seems it might very well never happen. There isn’t a beta version with WDM-KS support, and from what you are saying, there won’t be any in any foreseeable future… How could WDM-KS support be developed/implemented if it isn’t tested? +1 my thoughts entirely We need some way of getting it out in t...

Re: How to use previous lame versions in audacity w/o dll fi
The version that I am trying to use doesnt have lame.exe or maybe I can't find it. Can you help me? What exactly are you trying to do, and why must you use an old version of LAME to do that? Your topic title said "w/o DLL" assuming "w/o" means "without". So I suggested...
