Re: Audio Data Block Files are reading as Orphan Block Files
Audacity uses AUP files, so if you are really opening AUD files you must be downloading Audacity from a bogus site. Audacity from us is available at http://audacityteam.org/download/ . If you meant AUP, try searching your computer for some of the files listed as "missing" in the log. This ...

Re: Record from both Microphone and Stereo Mix
I'm finding it impossible to record off of both the microphone and stereo mix simultaneously on Windows 7. Why do you want to do that? If you are recording commentary on game audio, try Fraps. Or use VoiceMeeter to capture multiple sources then set Audacity to record from VoiceMeeter. See https://w...

Re: How to use previous lame versions in audacity w/o dll fi
If you recompile Audacity you can remove the symbols restrictions and have it accept any lame_enc.dll. Up to you.
If you recompile old versions of LAME you can produce lame.exe and use those with Audacity's (external program).

Re: error 2: No such file or directory
The name had / in it!! For other readers, the "/" character is a special character that should not be used in file names because it is a file path separator (so "Hey Ya! - Radio Mix / Club Mix - OutKast" looks like a file called "Club Mix - OutKast" in a folder called ...

Re: Windows 10 will not let audacity work...
I Fixed it went back to windows 8.1 :D If you upgrade to Windows 10 again, the first step is to go to the web site of the computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer and see if you can find audio drivers for Windows 10 meant for your specific computer. If you wait about a month, there is a mu...
